Terms of Service for Writer/Author
Scope of Work: The writer/author agrees to produce original written content as specified in the project brief or contract. All work shall be delivered by agreed deadlines and meet quality standards outlined by BFA Coach and Consult.
Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all copyrights and intellectual property rights to the delivered work will be transferred to BFA Coach and Consult, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Confidentiality: The writer/author shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, unpublished materials, and any sensitive data shared during the engagement.
Revisions: The writer/author commits to providing a reasonable number of revisions as specified in the project terms. Additional revisions may be subject to further fees.
Plagiarism: All content must be original and free from plagiarism. The writer/author is responsible for ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of sources and citations.
Payment Terms: Compensation will be as detailed in the contract, payable according to the milestones or delivery schedule. Late payments may incur penalties as stipulated.
Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice under specified conditions. Upon termination, outstanding work shall be compensated proportionally.
Warranties and Representations: The writer/author warrants that the work is free of legal encumbrances and does not infringe on third-party rights.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation before pursuing legal action.
Governing Law: These Terms of Service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the applicable laws where BFA Coach and Consult operates.
By engaging BFA Coach and Consult’s writing services, the writer/author agrees to abide by these Terms of Service, ensuring professionalism and integrity in all collaborative efforts.
